CNC/Machine Tool Application Requirements: The main drive unit (planetary reducer) of a CNC machining center must have high torsional rigidity and optimized torque. If the workpiece needs to be precisely positioned, then the backlash of the planetary reducer must be very small. The tool system, which is the core module of the CNC machining center, requires a shorter tool change time and a shorter time for each chip change. This time reduction requires the planetary reducer and servo motor to work together to quickly drive the tool magazine. The tool changer needs to precisely position the tool to the moving position; therefore, the planetary reducer must accelerate in a very short time while maintaining a fixed position and low backlash, and this must be achievable under various load conditions.

There are various types of engraving equipment, such as wood carving machines, stone carving machines, advertising carving machines, metal carving machines, jade carving machines, CNC laser carving machines, and CNC carving machines. Although these carving machines have different names, they are all composed of the following parts, which will be briefly described below. 
(1) Control system: composed of control card, switching power supply, and motor driver.
 (2) Auxiliary system: composed of circulating cooling water pump, air compressor, and exhaust fan. 
(3) Transmission system: Composed of linear guides, lead screws, belts, servo or stepper motors, high-precision reducers, etc.
(4) Mechanical platform: Composed of machine cover, guide rails, base, reflectors, and other mechanical components.
